I work with the low performing students who need a lot of confidence building to help improve their reading abilities. I focus on the areas where they are the weakest. I use various technology programs such as Istation, Renaissance Learning and Mind Play. My students use iPads to explore vocabulary, research, practice navigation skills and become more independent learners. Our previous iPads were lost during Hurricane Harvey and we are in need of having them replaced. My students love using the iPad for various computer type programs and they are always excited about improving their reading skills to their best potential.
