My students love having reading class every day because it can be a relaxing break from the stress of learning new material in core classes. I want my students to be as comfortable as possible during this time and last year that included letting them sit on the floor instead of at their desks. The floor is hard and uncomfortable but they still enjoyed it. This year I would love for them to be able to get out of those desks and sit in comfy bean bag chairs. Let's make reading aloud to be as comfortable as possible for these wonderful students.
