In Springfield, we are working with limited resources, but for the first time in decades, every student in our city now has access to a music class! In one of my schools, this is the first time we have had music as a class in over 10 years, and our students are so excited for the new opportunity. As such, I am still working to gather the resources that we need to create the most engaging and exciting music classes that I can! We have recently been gifted 20 buckets, plus a grant-funded drum set, but our students do not yet have drum sticks. This donation would ensure that students in every class have access to the opportunity to express themselves rhythmically through the kinesthetic connection that percussion instruments have to offer.

About my class
