I am a first year teacher, and want the very best environment for my kiddos. I would love them to be able to have flexible seating options. I think this will enhance their learning in the classroom and help them focus by having the ability to wiggle around in a controlled manner. 7 and 8 year olds need movement! In a dual immersion classroom we have a lot of curriculum to get through in a short amount of time. If they are able to get some movement in while they are in the seat, I think they will strongly benefit.
