I have chosen items that will benefit our classroom with digital content, creativity, and preferential seating. Many of our students find it hard to sit still during their school day, so giving them an option to create positive learning while not distracting others is essential. I want them to have the option to sit in other places than a seat that isn't one size fits all. I have included 2 different seating options for students. Two of the chairs come in a set and are for high top tables that students currently only have the option to stand behind. These have a crescent shape so comfort is in mind. The other "gamer chair" requested I felt was a great option for a student who needs movement throughout their day. This rocks back and forth but sits on the floor, so the view for others around them isn't altered. All three chairs are a leather material for easy wipe down. I have also attached items that are in need for our classroom that have broke, need updating, etc... This would include an electric pencil sharpener, so I have a working sharpener within our room. I am also requesting markers as we haven't had funds to buy in the past. I am hoping that both of these can help with creativity on projects and making sure students are ready and able to write. The final product added are headphones for digital content. With having one to one devices, I attempt to offer different ways of learning content through videos, creation, and connections with others through online forums. These headphones will be a wonderful added accessory for students who are in need of these. I am hoping these items can cultivate a creative and distraction free environment!
