My students from K to 5th grade have been sharing and working with the same material for a long time. Most of the brushes, markers, pencils, oil pastels... are falling apart or hardly work. Our budget does not let us buy materials such as tin foil, which would be fun to work with and would let us see our surroundings in a different way, driving us to make creative connections. We want to work on projects related to other subjects as the foil 3D spiders and the following drawings from different point of view, or the representation of eclipses after Alma Thomas. Besides working with recycled material, we need to have the excitement of discovering the creative possibilities of mixed media and new materials. Trying, mixing, exploring and feeling the different options and materials bring joy and help develop our motor and intellectual skills. And we would really love having nice looking tag board to exhibit our works.
