I am asking for seven tablets. Thanks to technology, my students can take ownership of learning better than ever, and this is my intention. My students will use multiple apps such as Plickers, Renaissance 360, Discovery Learning and Education Galaxy in order to improve their math skills and track their own math progress. Hurricane Harvey was a huge disaster for our community but after nearly losing everything, some students in my class will enjoy using the tablets. It is believed that the more you practice the better you become, and this is what I want for my students by engaging them with technology, they will have the practice they need. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
