My students need basic supplies as well as specific supplies, including microbiology slides, bottle rocket launcher, in order to compete successfully in Science Olympiad. We need timers, goggles, tools, and the other supplies which are necessary things that my students are lacking. The goggles will enable the students to test their devices without fear of injury. The tools - hammer, screwdrivers - will help my students build their engineering devices. The microbiology slides will help my students identify different disease causing critters. This project will increase my students participation, interest, and exploration in many types of STEM activities that Science Olympiad supports. These materials will allow my students many hands-on opportunities that they otherwise would not get to experience.
