My students are grades 3-5, and come from all over the world. They come to us from Mexico and Central America, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, Congo, Uganda, Sudan and Tanzania, to name a few! I am looking for new ways to help my students improve their English language skills so they they can become active participants in their education and their lives in general. They are energetic and always excited to learn. They respond best when class time involves movement, music and rhythm. I hope to learn effective ways to use these in my classroom through this visit to the Ron Clark Academy, where there is never a dull moment!
