My students need Chromebooks in order to successfully prepare themselves for learning in the 21st century. Our students are eager to strengthen their literacy and mathematical skills. Our school encourages students to learn in a multitude of ways. Our students use blended learning programs, such as ST Math and Lexia, to improve their literacy and math skills at their independent levels. Without adequate technology incorporating these programs into daily instruction is difficult. If my students had more opportunities to access technology they would be able to make more progress in these areas. My students deserve opportunities to explore their personal interests and strengthen their love of learning. By adding these Chromebooks, students will be able to research areas of interest. They will be able to use audio and visuals to enhance their learning and see firsthand what the world has to offer them.
