Having these books, The War That Saved My Life, Fish in a Tree, Masterminds, and others available to all my students will give equal access to our optional enrichment book club. My avid readers are eager to read and discuss these Washington Library Association's Sasquatch Nominees throughout the year so they can vote on their favorite at the end of the school year and celebrate these fabulous books together. We have read one Sasquatch nominee so far and now several other students have picked up that book as well and have decided they'd like to join our club. The reading bug is spreading! To keep our momentum going we need your help! There simply aren't enough of these titles in our school and public libraries for all of us. 6 books for each of the titles will do the trick! The books will continue to live in our classroom library for students to enjoy for years to come.
