Our students lack exposure to modern technology in our current classroom; however, it is technology that drives learning in today's student learners. The ability to incorporate technology into instruction will enhance student achievement, for they are excited to be able to use the devices. iPads will allow the creation of a technology station where students can access reading programs in a format they are used to. Furthermore, conducting research and creating projects is easier when my students have applicable resources. A Macbook allows for the interactive delivery of instruction while meeting the needs of all diverse learners as well as state standards. Additionally, it allows for flexibility and mobility around the classroom.
