My students love to read! In our classrooms, the kids strive to reach their own personal reading goals each and every day. One way to keep them growing is to provide challenging, but interesting texts for them to read. The texts I chose, have experiences that the students will be able to relate to, therefore furthering their understanding while retelling the book. With these books, my students will be able to not only practice their own personal reading goals, but will have opportunities for real life conversations about connections they are making to these texts. These books and small easel will give them more opportunities to grow!
