My students come ready for new challenges daily and are deserving of materials to keep them engaged and motivated during learning tasks. I strive to create a welcoming environment where they take ownership of their learning. A simple thing like a wobble seat, or a brightly colored anchored chart can help make that happen! Students are given a variety of tasks and learning assignments; it makes since for their space to also have a variety of learning materials! A motto I agree with is, “You are smart and getting smarter.” All students have strengths; academically, socially and emotionally and this generation deserves to know that. They will know and understand that this donation happened because kind people want them to succeed!
