This project would purchase flexible seating for Kindergarden - 4th grade lower academic students who receive extra support in reading outside the regular classroom. My focus is on student motivation, high engagement, and learning, and what better way to accomplish this than with flexible seating! Flexible seating meets the needs of diverse learners by limiting distractions and increasing the amount of time that students can focus, as well as increasing physical activity which research shows is linked to high academic performance. With only a short amount of time to cover reading concepts, my goal is to reduce time spent off task and increase student learning.

About my class
