This year I became a Blended Learning classroom with access to 9 Chromebooks for my students. This opportunity has allowed me to work with smaller groups of students while the Chromebooks have allowed the other students to be more productive when working independently. The last group I have been struggling with are the students who are working in collaborative groups. It is a struggle for them to accomplish their tasks without interrupting my small group teaching. I recently learned that iPads, with the use of an adaptor, allow students to listen and follow along while being read to among many other useful classroom tools. This will help reduce the number of interruptions to the teacher's small group instruction while successfully supporting students learning.
