I am reminded of all the hard work and determination students have put in to make this year a success. The students and I often use the word "grit" to describe what it takes to persevere and then reap the rewards of success. Our kids and school community have "grit." They never give up, and when things get tough they pick themselves up and get going no matter what the obstacle.
