My students range from grades 3-5 with varying disabilities. They receive direct reading intervention services in my classroom every day as well as inclusion services. Our groups have increased in number since the start of the school year and in order to best meet their academic needs, my students would benefit from a horseshoe-shaped table. This design of table would allow them easier access to the kinesthetic reading materials that we use in our particular reading curriculum. This addition to my classroom would allow my students to easily interact with their peers during collaborative learning activities and would also allow myself the ability to facilitate instruction more effectively among all my students.
