I am requesting an organized docking station and some headphones. I want to create an independent learning area for kindergartners to have access to games, books and other learning activities via the iPad. The headphones will allow students to have a quieter learning environment which will allow fellow students to concentrate on their literacy skills. The iPad station will allow these young learners greater independence and disruption free learning environment. A majority of my students are learning English as a second language and need multiple opportunities to hear and use language in new and engaging ways. Having this organized space also help to give kids an independent learning environment.
