COVID has resulted in frustration and anxiety in our youngest learners. The workbench will provide an opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and an outlet for their built up energy. The construction materials will extend their creativity for building and will provide for a way to express themselves and practice working together and sharing. The grocery stand will help them practice orally rich imaginative play and encourage development of sharing and other social emotional skills. Our children this year have been struggling with sharing and verbal expression, which is why we chose these items.

About my class
