I am asking for bookshelves, calculators and scissors. My students are great kids but very young. They do not have the family support or time to teach them about college and career paths. With these tools I can get them set up for the future. My students do not want to carry their books with them but I do not have a place to store a class set. In addition, my classroom is project based. I need basic supplies like scissors so we can work on art project, posters and final projects. More than a third of my students are low income so these tools for College and Careers is vital.
