Our classroom is open to students taking their required English 10 and 11 courses. English 10 focuses on ideas of community, particularly how a diverse group of individuals can come together to support and encourage one another. English 11 primarily focuses on understanding the American Dream, and how that dream might have shifted from past ideals. Both courses are rigorously engaged in both critical reading and proficient writing.
