The document camera would allow my students to share their work with their classmates without using additional instructional time to have them write it on the board. It would also allow us to compare and contrast multiple methods of solving math problems. I always tell my students that I am not the only "teacher" in the room. They all have valuable knowledge to share with their classmates. A document camera would make it that much easier. In addition to the document camera, the cubes will provides more concrete math experiences for all students to help explore and master various topics. It has been my experience that the more chances that students have to explore topics concretely, the more they are able to master the topic in the future.
