The materials chosen are science kits that they will use in teams to work together to figure out circuits, energy, differences in minerals, how the earth is made, how the solar system works. These materials will help my students to be able to have hands-on experience in science. There are only enough kits so that they will have to work in teams of 2-6. They will have to share and work in teams. This will help them to not only be able to learn science but work in a team which will help them build their social needs that have suffered due to COVID-19. These science experiments are engaging and fun that will help them see how fun science can truly be. Learning online has stifled their hands-on learning, this will give them the hands-on learning lacking in online learning. Science can open their eyes to the world and how it works. Having science projects to work with other students will help them to also build through teamwork.
