My special needs students love positive attention and to know that people are thinking of them. The markers and colored pencils will always be in use because they love to be creative with their projects and for their sensory breaks they draw to calm themselves down. The giant class timer is beneficial because it is a visual that allows students to see how much time is allotted for work time and sensory breaks. The wobble chairs also benefits the students with hyperactivity and need help to focus and complete their tasks. The headphones allow them to complete their literacy and math lessons in game form but are unable to afford their own pairs. And finally the white erase board assist the students and I during our small group lessons so they were are all interactive and able to move to different areas in the classroom. Your generous donation to our project will improve classroom by providing materials and appropriate stimulation that my students need due to their disabilities.
