Students will scout the Historical Martin Luther King, Jr. District of the Old 4th Ward, Atlanta. The purpose of this visit will be to capture still photos on DSLR|Mirrorless cameras that can be digitally enhanced with graphic design tutorials on Adobe's Photoshop CC. Once the still-photos are captured, students will learn how to effectively transfer files into the Adobe software application where they can take the next step into making a tangible portfolio for showcasing. Creating 'Captions of Positivity' for the historical images can teach our children a great a sense of foundation, accountability, and alternative career interest as they continue to push forward in academics.

About my class
