This school year, educators have been plagued with closing academic gaps as they relate to students engaging in non-traditional learning styles. In the effort of tackling this feat, our classroom will need intentional, individualized and equitable hands-on workstations to reiterate the foundational skills that have been taught. At times the language is the barrier to make those gains. Students learn best when they have the ability to manipulate workstations and have fun while learning. Activity folders will engage students in practicing what they are learning in a fun and interactive way and with visuals to help them make connections with both languages. In order to accommodate all students, the Build A Word Crayon Box Activities and All about letters pocket charts are great for centers. Touch and Read CVC Word and Vowels are for those who need additional support. Sequence Instant Learning and Fluency Comprehension are not yet on level and the other set are for on level students.
