The students I teach use computers almost daily in the classroom. It is incredibly helpful in supporting student independent practice and testing. Furthermore, when students work on computer-based programs, it allows me to see how they are progressing through content. With this information, I can be sure to meet students where they are during small group instruction. These tablets with keyboards will allow students to become familiar with technology, practice what they are learning, and prepare for standardized tests. The more familiar students can become with technology and how to use it appropriately, the more prepared they will be for the future.
