Our fourth graders know they C.A.N. (Change a Nation) one bottle at a time. These special students have been impacted by the natural disasters that have affected humans and animals across our country over the summer. Our desire is to extend our ongoing recycling routine to involve the entire school for the purpose of supporting our fellow Americans in need. The funds raised by our recycling initiative will help support the ongoing needs of 2017 hurricane victims across the United States. Each recycling bin will be donated to a classroom on campus, and our fourth graders will take charge of leading the school-wide initiative by encouraging their peers and teaching them about the importance of community service. Even a small school like ours can make a huge positive impact!
