As all young learners do, my students learn best through play! So many fundamental early learning concepts are taught by modeling real-life experiences such as language development, social/emotional skills, and motor skill acquisition. Many of my students do not have basic home experiences provided for them to learn from. Our dramatic play area is set up to resemble a house, with a working kitchen, living space, and household implements. I am requesting kitchen appliances for our dramatic play area. This will facilitate their learning by modeling real-life experiences that many of them do not receive at home. Our current items are over 20 years old. They have broken pieces, missing hardware, and chipped woodo/paint. I would love to update these items so they can be used daily!
