When I introduced my students to Daily 5 and Guided Reading, my students were beyond excited! They were thrilled to read alone, with a partner and with me during Guided Reading. Students loved being able to choose books at their level and of their interest. Unfortunately, my students do not have the proper materials to store their books, reading notebooks and supplies. The materials I am requesting are book bins to help students stay organize and travel around the room as needed. I'm also requesting for a giant classroom timer to help them keep track of time during each activity. Lastly, the tabletop paper center would provide students with the materials they need to complete activities during Daily 5 and Guided Reading. My students will benefit immensely this year and it will definitely inspire them to become independent readers! Please support our cause and the learning in our classroom. Your support will be greatly appreciated!
