Having more books readily available for my students to read will be a huge help for them. These books will not only promote literacy, but they are excellent at covering different topics to reach all students. These books will be a huge asset to getting my students more motivated to read! Life-long literacy is a huge goal I have set to give to my students. One Cool Friend by Toni Buzzeo is a text used to teach kids to really take their time and not only listen to the story but really look at and inspect the illustrations with a close eye when reading any text. Red: A Crayon's Story is a text that will be used to teach acceptance to my "firsties!"
