In a world dominated by technology, it's common that the "old ways" are thrown into the fire. Taking notes by paper and pen, opening an "actual" book, and many more ways of learning and showing creativity are dying. When the students told me that they actually preferred using these old ways to help them retain information or to enhance their creativity, I knew that I had to do something! Having a classroom library will help engage the students in my English classroom, but it will also give them the opportunity to explore new subjects and challenge themselves with the more difficult texts. The requested books will fill this need.
