Too often students stumble while solving equations because the algebra just looks like a jumbled mess--that is until they see it with Algebra Tiles! Algebra Tiles allow students to truly visualize the equations and the solution unfolds in a picture. Students can almost instantly see the solution and describe how to solve the problems using algebraic properties. There is no longer a need to memorize how to solve equations​--the equation itself tells you how to solve it. The foundational skill of solving equations is so important to the study of higher mathematics, so all students need to master this skill and it is possible if students have the opportunity to touch the equations.
