Third graders love a competition! They will be using the lapboards to compete with other "teams" of students. Learning of any concept or subject area can easily be turned into a fun game! Learning without realizing you are learning is best done through the use of fun games and tools that make them possible. My students will be able to present an answer to be on the write and wipe boards without having to worry about other students seeing a possibly incorrect answer. Writing an answer with a marker on to a white board will also make learning more fun and enjoyable!
