In first grade we spend most of our day working on the carpet. It is important for students to have their own spot on the carpet so that they can focus and learn while we are working. Since we do not currently have a carpet, it is hard for us to do work on the carpet without being to close to each other and without getting uncomfortable while we work. The carpet would help out my students by giving them their own area to work in, and also by making it more comfortable to work on. The bean bags would help with my reading nook in my classroom to have the students be in designated seats while they are reading silently to themselves in stations. I believe by having the beanbag chairs that the students will enjoy going to the library and reading more.
