This computer will be set up in a practice room and students will play assignments, tests, scales, and solos. They will get immediate feedback in real time from the Smart Music program and a recording with notes will be saved for me to better evaluate the students' progress and what needs to be addressed in the following full band lessons. With there being close to 70 students in each band class, the computer will allow students to receive much needed individualized feedback. This will help the beginning to advanced students and will be a catalyst to promote growth in all students. Students will also be able to use this program on their home computers and their work can be saved and recorded to be evaluated on the school Smart Music computer!
