I am a teacher of talented and gifted elementary students in Milton, Georgia. This year, I am teaching extremely inquisitive second, third, fourth and fifth graders! All of our topics are science and social studies based, which means we do a lot of moving around the room! We like to push up our sleeves and dig into whatever task is at hand. What I love about our class is that each day brings a different kind of activity. We could be using technology to create green screen productions, interviewing our friends to get feedback on our latest inventions, or writing a song to help us remember difficult concepts. Along with the science and social studies standards, we are also working on higher order thinking skills, creative thinking, creative problem solving, advanced research skills, and advanced communication skills. I truly am blessed to spend my day with these kids!
