Students learn best by doing, and students need to have areas and places to sit to make group learning more conducive! By having flexible seating, it allows my students to work in different areas of the room on different projects and assignments. Fifth graders are social children, and they do not want to be in the same desk and chair all day. So if a classroom has a variety of work areas, the children love learning and moving! This will help make our classroom so much more effective for activity based learning. I have heard that these types of stools help children who need to move and wiggle, and every teacher will have these students in their classroom. I would love to have these stools to benefit those children and help them focus and learn.
