My students will be able to increase their participation of scientific investigations because they will be experiencing the process personally. These STEM and Science kits will build upon students prior knowledge and also extend their classroom content acquisition creating a comprehensive science investigative environment.
These materials will be used in investigating forces and motion, simple machines, etc. Students will be exposed to experiences they may not be exposed to in their everyday lives. They will be able to connect these to real life applications.
Students will learn to work cooperatively using their interpersonal and critical thinking skills to help them plan and carry out the investigations. These skills that they learn with the hands-on science investigations will help them learn analytical and evaluative skills along with their cooperative and critical thinking skills.
