My project is focused on literacy. I have chosen books on tape/cd that my students will enjoy to listen to and hopefully read along with when they begin to know the words. I have picked books that I know they will like to read. For example, Henry and Mudge is a series we have read in our reading book. I also know that the Magic School Bus books will interest them, because my students have talked to me about the Magic School Bus show and they get excited when they find the Magic School Bus books in our school library. Listening to reading will help my students connect the words to the story and will help them gain the comprehension skills they need. I hope that you are agree that listening to reading is a great part of learning how to read.
