Hello all! The building in which I currently teach educates both 7th and 8th graders! Majority of the student population speak English as a second language and 73.94% of the student's receive free or reduced lunches due to income. We are an oilfield community so the economy fluctuates and is very unpredictable. Most male students aspire to follow in their father's footsteps and continue in the oilfield while we do our best to encourage them to branch out and consider furthering their education in pursuit of a more stable future. Our school is in need to new technology as most students do not have access at home and need experience to compete for scholarships and become better prepared for college and the workforce. We are also in need of books to expand our classroom libraries in order to provide students with interesting, modern reading material. We have awesome students who would appreciate any donations.
