Through the use of the Osmo kits, I will able to help students will concepts like numeracy, literacy, coding, spatial reasoning listening and non-verbal skills. Skills like county money, adding and subtracting will be remediated and reinforced through the use of the Osmo kits! Osmo helps to develop the foundational skills surrounding letter recognition and decoding. Number Sense portion of Osmo fosters an understanding of counting, addition, concatenation, and multiplication using physical tiles of dots and digits. The coding portion of Osmo teaches programming through exploring the functions of decomposed parts, detecting patterns, and crafting algorithms. This is a project that ALL student will benefit from!
