Student will benefit from these books. Julia Cook's Tattle Tongue provids four simple rules that are easy for a student to remember to become more independent. My Mouth is a Volcano explains to students that blurting out is not the answer while keeping the student engaged. Due to our poverty level, behavior modifications is not a high priority for parents. However, if there are a large amount of behavior concerns, no learning will be done in the classroom. Our Autistic students realize everyone needs personal space; they are not alone. This can be taught through Personal Space Camp by Julia Cook. Our students need to learn and adapt their mannerisms at school and in the future.
