One of my main focuses is to teach my students to build character and to learn how to solve everyday problems in an effective and positive way. I want to be able to instill these traits at a young age, so they can become successful adults. My students love being read to, but because we are a Title I school, there are limited resources provided for guidance. Obtaining these book sets will allow me to focus on areas of character building, social and emotional growth, and diversity within my small group guidance lessons. I hope to make a difference in my students' lives and help them to become successful citizens in our community.
