My students need four iPad minis to help explore social skills and development that will be evidenced by involving them in group sessions. Students will help form a Kindness Club that helps promote kindness. We will also have group sessions that explore grief, bullying, attitude adjustment, depression, and peer pressure. A Student Government Club, that helps make decisions about our campus, and Put up a Put Down Club, where our students discourage bullying and mistreatment. Students will take part in weekly groups that examine and help explore different components of social skills such as manners, kindness, compassion, and empathy.Students will learn about acts of kindness and how to make those acts random and contagious. Also, students will explore what happens when we aren't kind.
