I teach in a Title I Public Elementary school. Most of my students live with financial hardships, but that doesn't stop them from learning and being the best that they can be! I teach General Music, grade K-5, plus I direct chorus and a free after school Orchestra Program. Music is proven to raise test scores, self-esteem, and teach discipline to students that desperately need it. I love inspiring my students the way my music teachers inspired me. It warms my heart to see them creating and performing music!
