We need new equipment to maintain a healthy lifestyle at school. Many of my students depend on school for playtime, to both learn socialization through play and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. New jump ropes, balls, hula hoops, conte, and other equipment will facilitate more engaged PE time. Team sports with flag football and led PE activities like frisbie throwing will help with collaboration skills, coordination, and increase a competitive drive for our students. Our current equipment is old, worn out, and needs replacing so students want to participate in outdoor activities. Without providing adequate and apropriate PE time outside, students will fidget, have trouble focusing, and incidents of disruption will increast.
