I work with Kindergarten students who do not always get exposure to everyday items. My goal is to help them gain experiences that show them how every day items can be used for learning in a fun and unique way. I want them to see that learning and achievement can happen, no matter the circumstance. I want to offer them the same academic experiences as privileged children have throughout my district. My students are high achievers, who are also risk takers when it comes to learning. It brings a smile to my heart when a concept is grasped and they inquire about new things.

About my class
