A classroom rug is where all of the magic happens! We begin all of our lessons by gathering together in our meeting area for our daily read aloud, mini lessons, balanced literacy, math, science, social studies, and morning meetings. At the end of the day, we gather together again for “tell me something good” time. A classroom rug will positively impact the instruction in my classroom by providing a clearly defined space for us to learn and share. A classroom rug will help to make students feel at home and provide consistentcy and routine. Our new classroom rug will be placed in our meeting area.
